Little is known about the Stranger.. not even his name. We do know that Lord British summoned him from his native Earth to help deal with the threat of Mondain and his Gem. We know that somehow, the Stranger broke through Mondains defenses and slew the evil wizard before he had a chance to complete his vile magicks.

Though his magic were not complete, it still held some effect upon our world.. for as the gem shattered, so too did reality. Existances shattered, and others were created. Within each fragment of the gem there are a plethora of worlds which live and die as reflections of reality. This is the shattered legacy which the Stranger unknowingly created. Had Mondain had fully completed his magic, none of us would be free to speak of it.. reflection or not.

Shortly after his victory, the Stranger returned to his homeworld, never to be seen or heard from again. His actions and bravery live on with us always.
