It had been a few years since Kazola had last walked in Yew. Confused about her past, she had wandered throughout Britannia seeking answers to who her true parents were. Sadly, she returned home, not having found any information about who she truly was. She had been left at the Abbey as a very small child, with only the knowledge that her mother had left her there, unable to take care of the young girl herself.

Her friends were amazed to see her once again at the Yew Abbey, and Kazola was very happy to be back home. She knew that the only family she truly needed was there in Yew... the other Yew Rangers, the Burning Heart guild, and the Yew Trading Company among her greatest friends. Many of those she had known had also left Yew, and were feared lost forever, and she was sad when she heard the news that the YTC was no more. She did, however, look with great interest upon the new Yew government, and planned to introduce herself to its members when the next opportunity arose.

Kazola decided to end the search for her parents, as she realized how truly happy she was in Yew, and began to ponder what her future would be. She wanted to contribute something to the Yew community that she loved, and noticed how there wasn't really a central gathering place for its citizens, besides the bank in Empath Abbey. She decided to start saving up gold, and open a tavern nearby for the people of Yew to enjoy.

Soon after this, Kazola met a man named Sixx Moka, who was to be put on trial for assisting in the murder of a man named Barak. He was, at that time, a member of the Yew Militia, and Kazola and he became good friends. She told him of her idea for a tavern, and he became quite enthused and pledged his support. When the time of his trial came, Kazola met others in the Yew Council, including the Mayor himself, Enshu Ponfar. They all liked the idea as well, especially a young man named Garet Jax, a reporter for the Yew Clarion. Kazola immediately felt a strange affinity with this man, and they soon became close friends. He, too, became one of her strongest supporters as she made her plans for the tavern.

With donations from Sixx Moka, Tyr-anon, and Shaitan, Kazola finally had enough gold to hire architects to build her tavern. She decided on a standard large brick home, and began the search for a good place to build. This proved to be quite a difficult task, as all of the clearings around Yew had already been taken up by many buildings. Sixx and she traveled all around, and soon realized that they most likely would have to place the tavern a good distance away from the village of Yew. Kazola was not happy, but became resigned to the fact that her tavern would be so far away. Fortunately, her good friend Garet convinced her to look again closer to Yew, and it was pure luck that they stumbled onto a fairly open area under a giant Yew tree. After much discussion with the architects, who stated it just simply wasn't possible to build there, a spot was finally found, to the amazement of all. The tavern was soon built, right under the Yew tree, and it was that tree that inspired Kazola to give it its name: Kazola's Treetop Keg and Winery. Located just east of the Yew moongate, it was just a short walk away from Empath Abbey.

The tavern opened a few days later, and has become one of the best-known establishments in Britannia. The tavern is now four years old, and Kazola continues in her role as its proprietor. She later did discover her parentage, and learned that Garet Jax was her long lost twin brother. Sadly, her parents both perished before she ever met them.
