Born in Trinsic, Red William was raised in a family of Bowyers, and he became a quick study in the art of Archery. He also learned how to play the lute and became reknowned as a skilled bard and storyteller.

He had served as a reporter for UO stratics, a member of good standing with OGD and his friend and Guildmaster, Sir Sabbathius. During his wanderings after OGD, he fought in the battle of Trinsic against Jou'nar the lich, and was one of the last heroes to escape the city with the refugees. He also fought alongside his friends and allies of Britannia in several wars.

He is currently serving as a semi-retired curator of the Britannia Explorer Society Headquarters, referring the quiet life of study and exploration.
