While I have no pictures of Oberon, I can describe him to you. He was very old, with wispy, snow-white hair that hung past his shoulders and a long, thick beard. He wore a robe of light purple at all times and carried the legendary artifact known as the staff of Dar-Salaam, leaning upon it as his health failed. Oftimes he also had an ancient tome of alchemy cupped under one arm.

Oberon was a member of the Brotherhood of Healers, whose members we see whenever fate gives a little kick to the arse and we end up at a healer's hut. However, Oberon did not live such a methodical life. As an elder healer, he did not serve in the healing houses about the world. Instead, he concentrated on the study of healing magic and alchemy. It was during his travels that he found the staff of Dar-Salaam, and then came the appearance of Hebban Olla.

With the staff once more in possession of a mortal, Hebban Olla had the chance to escape from his tomb. He hounded Oberon both physically and spiritually. It is my belief that Olla's constant attempts to take Oberon's body was the cause of the healer's sickness.

Olla did succeed in taking Oberon's body multiple times, but never for stretches long enough to unlock the tomb. Oberon persevered and won the respect of much of the world. It was not to be, however.

Olla found a new minion in his faithful ogre lord. He sent it against Oberon and his defenders many a time, and, as is well known, succeeded in taking the staff from Oberon. As if Fate had not toyed with the old healer's life enough, he was turned into a skeleton of charred bones for the last few moments of his life and begged his defenders to destroy him. It was so.

Oberon is now buried in front of Yew's Empath Abbey at the site of his last stand. The Brotherhood of Healers finished what Oberon had started, locking Olla's tomb even further with magical mushrooms.
