Biographical Information
by Nero

As a young boy farming with his family, Nero always dreamed of living in the city and becoming the Captain of the Guard. His overly-religious brother Baramos had no intrest in city life; but instead rambled on about the greatness of the Earth Titan Lithos. Nero was much less religious than most of those on Pagan. He hardly even had any respect for the Titans, sometimes calling them tyrants rather than gods. His family, quite upset at the young Nero, urged him to see things diffrently, but he believed more in the teachings of the Zealan gods, who payed homage to the emotions of Love, Hate, and Apathy, than in the benevolence of the Titans. Wanting to distance himself from the pressures of an overly-religious country family, he moved to the city at a very young age, and was lucky enough to stop a thief stealing toraxen ribs from the local provisioner with one of the city's guards nearby- bringing some notice to his bravery. He was quickly initiated into the guard training at the Royal Training Academy of Tenebrae, where he proved his prowess and skill in combat. He would also set an example to his fellow guarsdmen, many of whom were too quick to judge those suspected of a crime. Nero would always give one the benefit of the doubt, and try to find the truth of the matter. His excemplary performance on and off the line of duty earned him much respect and admiration throughout the city, and he quickly realized his life-long dream: The Tempest, Ruler of Tenebrae, bestowed upon him the honor and responsibility of Captain of the Guard, which gave many of the city's populace a boost of hope, knowing that Nero would not be swayed by evil. A few years into his service of Captain of the Guard, his twin brother Baramos was punished very severly by the Mountain King. As they were twins, their souls were linked, and both were banished to Britannia; forever denided permission to enter the Mountain King's realm. While Baramos saw this as a true curse, Nero saw it as a blessing. He was now in a land not obsessed in religious pursuit... this new kindgom valued Honor, Valor, and Compassion- among many other things; things he thought were of more importance than paying homage to an elemental Titan. He now uses his eternal days to serve the virtues of Lord British, to which he vows his eternal days, his strength, and his life.
